This dome has been created to resemble a swampy meadow, using scenery art products used for miniatures. I put together small tuffs of grass, powdered artificial grass powder & artificial dirt to really bring this piece to life mimicking moss bits of moss. It has an organic feel to it, the tree stumps are cork bark, with have a really nice texture to them.
Specimens in this dome:
- Death's Head Bug (Eucorysses grandis), a type of jewel bug known for the skull-like pattern on its back.
- Southern Emperor Moth (Saturnia pavoniella) known for its distinct eyespots on its orange wings.
All specimens have been responsibly sourced & preserved with the utmost care.
